Team

Awen founders Valeria Leonardi and Sean Rogg met in 2021 on the Zinc Venture Builder program, who's mission was focused on improving the mental and emotional wellbeing of young people. Valeria, Sean and the rest of the team here at Awen are working tirelessly to research, test, and co-create VR interventions that support young people to better cope with their emotions and start to understand their own minds.

With our founders’ 10+ years of experience in passionately leveraging VR technology and radical immersive experiences, they are deeply committed to ensuring everything they do is evidence-based and built with clinical and academic input.

Sean is a British Futurist working in the field of experimental performance, XR and neuroscience. He has been leading a team of future thinking artists and scientists to explore the full potential of futurism with the Waldorf Project experiment which he founded in 2012. It subsequently went on to become recognised as the world’s most extreme immersive art performance.

Valeria has a long history working in tech, scaling businesses. Now with his partnership with Valeria and the formation of Awen, the digital space will be explored and new ground breaking solutions discovered.
